We are currently seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at one of our La Quinta by Wyndham properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.

Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Performing thorough inspections of rooms to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

Adhering to hotel safety and security procedures, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of linen closets, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.

Responding to guest requests for additional supplies or services in a timely and professional manner.

Assisting with deep-cleaning projects, as needed.

Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and brand standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Collaborating with other team members to promote a positive work environment and ensure guest satisfaction.

Performing additional duties as assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Professional demeanor and willingness to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
