West Shore Health Center, a 145-bed skilled nursing, dementia and sub-acute facility located in Warwick, RI has an exciting opportunity for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track time and attendance. Compile hours from time clock and monitor sick & vacation balances
• Process weekly payroll. Maintain employee deductions
• Maintain and update payroll and HR software for all employees
• Maintain employee files
• Coordinate new hire process. Ensure all required paperwork is completed and filed accurately
• Administration of Workers Comp and maintain OSHA log
• Administration of FMLA
• Administer employee benefits. Enrolls employees in medical, dental, life, 401k
• Provide various payroll and employee reports
• Provide assistance to Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Various other miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications and/or Experience

• Two to four years of related experience
• Must be organized and proactive
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Paychex computerized payroll a plus
