POSITION TITLE: HR Assistant

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to provide administrative support to the HR Department supporting 1,500 team members nationwide. This role will support multiple functions of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, retention, and off-boarding processes within the department. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a high level of attention to detail, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the HR Team with various administrative tasks including orientation, company-wide drug testing, anniversary program, event planning and execution, data entry, employee file maintenance, annual audits, etc.
  • Assists team members with general questions.
  • Generates reports and compiles data to support various analytics projects including retention trends, employee census, compensation ranges, etc.
  • Ensures data integrity within the HRIS, supports the team by ensuring forms, policies, events flyers, data, etc. is clean and up to date.
  • Performs exit interviews and new hire check ins when requested.
  • Prepares for and facilitates weekly new hire orientation; can present in front of a diverse audience.
  • Helps with benefits administration as needed including building packets, uploading notices/policies, conducting touch points with new hires, etc.
  • Performs other position duties when requested.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, copy/fax, and smartphones

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 1+ years of general administrative experience within a corporate environment preferred
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Recent college grad with a degree focused on HR or Business, etc. a plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
