Join our team! big Burrito Restaurant Group is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to work with us.This position is eligible for a Monday-Friday hybrid and flex-time schedule, with in-office days based in our corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA. As part of our HR and Payroll Team, the HR Generalist will focus on the areas of benefits administration, payroll (working closely with our Payroll Manager), leave management, and compliance.
Primary responsibilities include:
1. Planning, executing, and administering employee benefit programs including health, life, accident, disability, paid time off, 401(k), and employee perks
2. Processing payroll for assigned stores/areas of responsibility
3. Managing leave of absence and accommodation processes for non-work-related matters
4. Conducting compliance initiatives
5. Maintaining compliance with the Affordable Care Act
6. Managing HRIS setup and ongoing configuration related to Recruitment, Benefits, Leaves, Entitlements, and other related areas
7. Supporting the Human Resources and Payroll functions

- Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with HRIS/HRMS systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong math skills to effectively process payroll
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in the restaurant/hospitality industry
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce Payroll and HRIS System
