Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the recruiting process including, but not limited to posting jobs, creating job descriptions, screening applications, and coordinating interviews;
- Onboarding new employees including setting them up with an employee portal, conducting new-hire orientation, and collecting all new hire documents;
- Keep employee personnel files organized, and up to date
- Digitize all employee personnel files;
- Create job descriptions and maintain library of all relevant descriptions
- Maintain records of personnel-related data and ensure compliance with all applicable employment law requirements
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Backup support to payroll when needed
- Tracking of performance reviews
- Draft and distribute confidential email communications on HR related matters.
- Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
- Perform administrative work, including mailing, filing, copying and overall assistance with HR functions
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure that HR matters are kept private.
Desired Experience ( not required):
- At least one year of experience working in an HR Admin/ Recruiting capacity or 1 year working in an administrative role.
Qualifications:
- Strong Administrative skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail;
- Track record of independent problem-solving;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Positive can-do attitude;
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
- Demonstrate the ability to self-motivate and work efficiently in both a collaborative and independent setting.
