Ice Cream Maker – Winfield’s Chocolate Bar

The Company: Winfield’s Chocolate Bar first opened our doors in the early 2000s satisfying Houston’s dessert cravings ever since. We are most known for the fun and delicious chocolates and confections with customers plus our house made baked goods and ice creams for the whole family.

The Position: We’re looking for an Ice Cream Maker. The pay range is $12-$15 depending on experience. The Ice Cream Maker is responsible for preparing and producing all handcraftedice cream flavors in the Winfield’s Chocolate Bar Commissary.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work long hours while standing.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Maintain a valid driver license.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ice cream bases and produce ice cream according to company recipes and standards.
  • Exhibit knowledge of product lines, food safety and sanitation laws and regulations.
  • Operate the ice cream machine.
  • Assist with the production of mix-ins.
  • Follow recipe and production protocol precisely. Measure all ingredients as specified and prepingredients for production.
  • Pint and package finished ice cream into containers cleanly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Demonstrate time management and ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all Food Safety standards and follow good manufacturing practices.
