As an Imaging Specialist you will support Imaging's product quality and manual auditing services, Selling Partner communication deployments, and image quality coordination with internal stakeholders. Imaging's audit services include: define and execute ML based pre/post-metric baselines, ground-truth auditing and appeals, support new science research, attribute tagging, image escalation deep dives, and direct image enhancements to support our goals. You will help to execute image quality services for internal customers. The role will partner with other Imaging Specialist, Program Management, Product Managers to support image-based work-streams. We're seeking someone who is highly organized and enjoys both working on repetitive task (working down a queue), as well as deep diving issues and finding ways to streamline work. The ideal candidate will possess a background in image data management, ML based research and a background working with cross functional teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a background in image retouch is beneficial.

Key job responsibilities
- Be an expert in Amazon's Imaging Products and workflows.
- Work on ticket-based queues to support image audits and image issue troubleshooting.
- Work with Amazon systems and tools to define, scope, and partner on direct work between business, stakeholders, Digital Imaging Services, and other support teams.
- Manage JIRA workflows to implement external facing Selling Partner imaging communications.
- Identify and apply relevant tools and mechanisms to drive and measure progress.
- Communicate status to all stakeholders including through regular business reviews, and escalate issues when required.
- Identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.
- Experience with ticket-based and agile workflows, and project tracking tools such as Asana, and JIRA.
- Basic or intermediate image manipulation using Photoshop, ability to make quick ad-hoc edits.
- Decision maker and complex problem solver; a system thinker who proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources to make the right decisions.
- Experience creating a process and developing a standard operating procedure (SOP) from the ground up.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate at all levels in the organization (technical, business, leadership).
