Responsibilities:

General Position Description:

Performs research, collection and collation of data from studies. Responsible for the compilation of data, and preparation of inputs into larger reports. Performs assessments and projections as part of analysis process. Analyzes factors and components of complex systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency. Plans studies of work problems and procedures, such as organizational changes, communication, information flow, integrated production methods, or cost analysis. Recommends improvements of modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters. Examines and analyzes current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements which will satisfy the total program need. Translates user requirements into system specifications, configuration management plans, life cycle management documentation, and integrated logistics support plans and related operational summaries. Writes specifications manuals and user documentation for client or user personnel. Gathers information from users, defines work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems. May be assigned responsibility for the management of the function, including associated staff.


Specific Position Description:

The Information Analyst will be responsible for providing key decision makers with risks and opportunities on market research, equity and risk analysis for private sector vendors (vendors), academia and personnel vetting for the CI mission. The Information Analyst will also support process improvements using best practices for analyzing vendors and academia. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assess and enhance needs of requests for analysis and research with the requesting customers.
  • Interacting with multiple stakeholders to assess, understand, document, and manage requirements.
  • Perform market research, financial analysis, equity analysis and risk analysis utilizing existing processes, customer sources as well as open sources.
  • Create a summary of risks and opportunities found from analysis and research focusing on key points Executives.
  • Collaborate with other customer organizations responsible for risk management and deconfliction.
  • Provide expertise and process improvements for existing processes and document all new processes.
  • Produce executive level briefings to provide task statuses.


ADDITIONAL SECURITY REVIEW PROCESS:

All personnel coming into the organization undergo an additional security review that can take anywhere from 7 business days to 30 days or more.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or 3/+ equivalent experience) in a relevant field and 10-12 years' experience
  • An active TS/SCI w/ poly security clearance
  • Exceptional corporate communication expertise with desired experience writing to both broad project level and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated experience to interact with customers, external stakeholders and program managers in a highly matrixed environment. Conduct of due diligence or similar analytical reporting.
  • Possess a working knowledge of available computer software package like Microsoft Office and any other technology tools that ensures efficient work processes
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Detail oriented with the ability to provide polished written reports, briefings, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills.
  • Flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines.
