Position Summary:
Provides advanced professional input to complex Infrastructure assignments/projects. Serves as a technical consultant on the design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions for projects or work requests of moderate complexity. May troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, and/or customer expectations. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, provides technical support on the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise. May consult on the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems including acting as a primary contact for vendors. May participate in risk assessments and project life cycle design activities to support more senior engineers. Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Infrastructure Engineering.

The CICS Systems Analyst will manage and maintain CICS IT infrastructure environments. The CICS Analyst performs a variety of technical tasks in support of Mainframe CoE. These may include but are not limted to:

Responsibilities:
Install, implement, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions.

Anticipate, mitigate, identify, and respond to system performance issues.

Research and makes recommendations on infrastructure products, services and standards.

Participates in Disaster Recovery exercises and planning.

Follows change control, incident response, and testing processes.

Develops, documents and maintains policies, procedures and associated training procedures.

Qualifications:
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Self-Starter and self-motivated.

Leadership skills: ability to effectively coach, mentor and provide direction for junior technical resources.

Must be able to assist in setting technical direction for the Mainframe Storage environment.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 82,700 - 137,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
