We are looking for an Intake Coordinator to join our team and welcome clients to our company. This person will serve as the first point of contact for all oncoming clients and staff members scheduling. They will provide comprehensive admission assessment (intake) planning/coordinating services/plans for clients. They will include but not limited to scheduling, registration, record patient information and provide administrative support. This position will work with and monitor staff as needed and report to the Operations Manager.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

· Monitor Client Portal throughout shift (Respond to CM’s for potential clients)

· Schedule and perform assessments (Onsite boarding)

· Complete Intake process including all required paperwork

· Monitor staff through scheduling app

· Create/change staff schedule

· Utilize telephone, texting, and electronic communication to ensure effective communication with field staff.

· Process monthly reports in a timely manner

· Perform clerical work such as filing, copying, emailS, and answering designated phone line

· Address any client complaints or concerns

· Monitor utilization to ensure clients are not exceeding allotted hours

· Plot monthly schedules for clients

· Run bi-weekly hours report (payroll)

· Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in work area

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in admissions or intake, preferably in the healthcare field (Required)
  • Strong assessment skills required
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks quickly and efficiently
  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Local travel during work hours required for onboarding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Indianapolis, IN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
