NFI Massachusetts Inc. is a human service organization currently seeking a full time Intake Coordinator for our Ambulatory Services Division located in Haverhill, MA.
NFI-MA Inc, provide a range of mental health services within the Northeast Massachusetts area, working with individuals and families throughout their lifespan. Ambulatory Services is a full-service outpatient facility specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment. Individuals served are from the Merrimack Valley area and come in for individual treatment, group treatment, and medication management.
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Division Director, the Director of Outpatient Services, the Director of Structured Outpatient Addictions Program (SOAP), and the Director of the Driver Alcohol Education Program (DAE). Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and work independently but also as a member of a large team of clinicians, counselors, and administrators.
Salary: $18-$19 per hour
Tasks include:
- Answering phones/directing calls
- Greeting clients
- Scheduling appointments
- Accepting payments and recording accurately
- Managing client records as needed
- Responding to requests and questions from clients
- Consistently protecting patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies and guidelines
- Assist prescriber with medication needs and inquiries
- Ability to develop/manage spreadsheets for a variety of division needs
- Fax/file/research as needed
Job Requirements:
- At least one year administrative assistance/ intake experience.
- Experience working in a mental health environment also preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required.
- Full time position with varying schedule M-F / T-S and some evening availability.
