Chicago Commons is seeking an Internal Quality Assistant to Join our Senior Care Department!
Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the field time and attendance system including but not limited to monitoring, time entry functions, verification of service delivery, and report management. This position works with the Director of Home Care to ensure service delivery was completed in accordance with the scheduled time and client satisfaction is achieved. Works in conjunction with the scheduler to ensure open available HCA’s are staffed and service is delivered.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED a must ( bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
- Skilled in utilizing a personal computer and associated software programs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience & Training Requirements
- A min of 2 years of experience working in the homecare field
Desired Outcomes
- Compliance with client care plans and employee schedules through assistance with monitoring dashboard and variance report
- Customer satisfaction as evidenced by client surveys
- Client service hours maximized to meet client care plan by monitoring variance reporting and addressing deviations in service delivery
Essential Job Requirements & Duties
- Reviews electronic visit verification reports for employee no-shows and call-offs
- Performs time evaluation and time transfer processes, evaluates errors, and ensures appropriate corrections take place.
- Assist with file review to ensure compliance
- Reviews variance reports of electronic verification visits
- Contacts clients to verify employee attendance
- Implements employee schedule changes or updates when required
- Monitors client service delivery and responds accordingly.
- Uses data analysis to recommend changes in client service delivery
- Generates electronic reports and electronic analysis of report findings
- Creates spreadsheets
- Monitor essential duties and responsibilities for the QA team
- Compliance with variance report timeline
- Assist with entering quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports into home care software
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range.
