INVENTORY CONTROL ADMINISTRATOR
Job description
The Inventory Control Administrator works hand in hand with our parts department and inventory team to effectively manage physical inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have a strong working knowledge of parts department functions
- Work and place/transmit stock orders for multiple vendors
- Process electronic invoices daily and timely
- Assist with work and transmit part and core returns and ensure items are transferred to correct destinations
- Maintain accurate system price files and listings on parts consignments and service vans
- Work and share reports with parts departments and managers
- Audit physical inventory against vendor statements regularly to ensure timely payments are made and correct parts are received
- Process physical inventories for branches and truck/consignments
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school education (Required), college degree (Preferred)
- 2 years of related experience (inventory management)
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to handle conflict and collaborate with others
- Excellent organizational skills and safe working habits
- Willingness to adapt, learn, and take direction
- Capable of working with new computer programs
- Ability to maintain a positive presence in the workplace
