Job description
As an iOS software engineer, you’ll be a part of one of our many product teams, working closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers, to prototype, build and test new features and experiences for the Bible App. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end development of our iOS applications and sharing our passion for new technology, research, and innovation.

We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to work within an agile, Christ-centered team to build new app experiences and features inside the Bible App for Apple platforms.

Who you are:
- Passionate about the global Bible engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in iOS development
- Proficient in Git, MacOS, iOS application development, Cocoa, and Objective-C/Swift
- Track record of building and shipping applications for Apple platforms
- Knowledgable of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
- Energized by learning new methodologies and systems
- Willing to do whatever it takes to help your team be successful

- Prototype new features and experiences that make effective use of new platforms and technologies at the forefront of mobile tech
- Collaborate with team members representing product, design, web development, and product marketing
- Test, debug, and maintain software throughout the product lifecycle
For bonus points:
- Are experienced building unit tests and running continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD)
- Are skilled in client/server architecture and integrated mobile applications, REST
- Can debug large and complex code bases
- Have a passion for the end-to-end user experience
