Connections Health Solutions is a physician-owned, multifaceted behavioral health company whose mission is to address any behavioral health need at any time. We are hiring an IT Clinical Systems Analyst for the Phoenix, Arizona area who will be an individual contributor with experience in business or healthcare processes and participates in formulating system scope and objectives relative to the company’s requirements utilizing previous clinical and non-clinical expertise.This position supports the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for clinical and operational staff at multiple behavioral health crisis facilities in multiple states. The IT Clinical Systems Analyst compiles business requirements from internal stakeholders to make improvements and updates to system configuration and workflows. They research and implement software patches, updates, and new functionality in the EHR. They utilize knowledge from industry best practices, clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and existing system documentation to inform and advise leadership and stakeholders on the optimal configuration and use of the EHR.Responsibilities:

Monitors and resolves end-user support tickets for anything related to the EHR.

Troubleshoots and escalates support tickets with the EHR vendor, monitoring through resolution and communicating status to stakeholders.

Assists Operations and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) with configuring service codes and troubleshooting data and workflow issues that impact operations or RCM activities.

Supports the Implementation team and manage the configuration of the EHR in new facilities and states as the business expands.

Analyzes EHR vendor offerings and creates relationships with other EHR users in the industry, in order to make recommendations to leadership on new best practices, functionality, and optimizations available.

Maintains multiple databases to support the reporting and data analytic needs of the organization.

Queries the EHR and data warehouse to generate report deliverables.

Assists in the audits of data entered into the health record, in collaboration with Compliance and Quality Management.

Works closely with the Analytics team to coordinate system updates, impacts to reporting, and data warehouse management.

Works closely with the IT Systems Administrators to implement and troubleshoot EHR solutions for end-users at the facility level.

Works closely with Operations, Implementation, and Clinical Leadership in developing electronic templates and forms in the Electronic Health Record.

Performs other job-related functions and activities as requested/required.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience- 3 years of system configuration and/or implementation or relevant work experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting and using Electronic Health Records
- The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology or related field
- Proficiency with SQL
