Our IT team is looking for people who are driven to solve problems, share ideas for new product development while utilizing your programming and business analysis skills.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects by leading and guiding the work of technical and non-technical staff. This individual will serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects; plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage and monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. This position will report project progress and individual performance evaluations to management on a routine basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to obtain resources for phases of projects, including requirements gathering, project planning, software development, testing, process development, training, go-live, and other information as needed for the project.
- Follow Streck software development methodology for various types and sizes of projects. Complete and enforce any required documentation and other Streck policies as required.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve project issues. Coach and train project personnel, as needed, to prevent project issues.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects.
- Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources, and request as appropriate.
- Manage projects within approved schedules, budget guidelines, and quality control.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge by attending workshops, conferences, online courses and tutorials, pursuing certifications and ongoing education, reading publications, white papers, and books.
- Ensure adherence to all Streck regulatory, safety, and quality system guidelines.
- Communicate all relevant information to management on a routine basis.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent information technology or related field experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience with a demonstrated ability to lead successful projects.
- PC literacy with strong knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and project management software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
