Job description
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy – Tarrytown Expocare (“Tarrytown”) is a national long-term care pharmacy that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (“IDD”). The Company provides prescription medication to IDD patients primarily residing in group homes and offers clinical administrative services to its facility partners. Tarrytown was founded by Mark Newberry in 2013 and is headquartered in Austin, TX.
Tarrytown is looking for a strong technical individual to help design and support our IT infrastructure with a focus on our VoIP/UCaaS solution with RingCentral and our Microsoft Teams environment. This person will work with a growing team and multiple vendor partners to help design, test, implement, and support a multi-site pharmacy operation.
This person should have extensive skills in VoIP and/or UCaaS systems. Additionally, this person should have an understanding of Networking, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.
This is an on-site position. There may be some flexibility for occasional (1-2 days per month) remote work after established tenure of at least 3 months. However, we value on-site team interaction, and many duties call for hands-on support in our Austin-TX HQ.
Essential Responsibilities:
IT Incident and Problem Management
Install and support VoIP solution(s) - RingCentral
Install and support phone systems deployed across the enterprise
Part of a team providing additional IT Support for:
Windows PCs
VDI environment
Network
Recommend changes to improve systems and determine hardware and software requirements related to such changes
Analyze and isolate issues
Identify user needs proactively
Assist in design and deployment of VoIP/UCaaS and Microsoft Teams services
Assist in technology purchasing and tracking of assets
Help administrate and support Office 365 environment
Administrate and setup users, phones, workstations, and servers as directed
Organize and prioritize assigned tasks to meet established schedules, timeliness, and/or deadlines
Document and train other team members to act as backup in support role
Work independently with minimal supervision
Assists with project management discipline
Assists with change management discipline
Require Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma
3-5 years of experience in IT support role
1-2 years of experience administrating and support VoIP and/or UCaaS solution
A technical understanding of the following:
Microsoft Windows
Data networking
Wi-Fi
Cloud services (DaaS, IaaS)
Information security and firewall solutions
Incident and problem management
Office 365 Administration
VoIP services
Virtual application/desktop technologies
Proven technical acumen
Proficient in English (read, write, and verbal communication)
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, sponsorship not available
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
College degree or advanced technical education
3-5 years of experience in IT system administration role
Knowledge off Pharmacy Operations and related systems a significant plus
ITIL knowledge and understanding of IT best practices
