Job Description:
We are looking for an experiences IT Asset Management (ITAM) governance lead to join our team. The ITAM governance lead should have strong knowledge in ITAM related standards or policy to ensure the organization is compliant with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Standard, and Software Asset Management (SAM) Standard, Vulnerability Threat Management (VTM) Standard, and License Management, etc. The successful candidate will provide leadership, facilitation, analysis in the ITAM process to make sure the organization is compliant with the standard, and improve the IT Asset inventory data quality, and ultimately reduce the risk.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technology subject matter expert in ITAM space and closely work with domain owners to understand the asset management process.
- Understand the ITAM strategy, and familiar with the ITAM related standards
- Understand the enterprise risk management framework, and make sure the proper controls are in place to reduce the risk.
- Capable of driving the ITAM governance forum and help the organization improve the governance maturity
- Be the liaison between IT Inventory domain teams and centralized inventory management team to ensure the proper data management.
- Work closely with Risk Team to make sure proper controls are in place to remediate the risk
- Work closely with data modeling team to the model is properly reflecting the IT Inventory, relationship, and dependency, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Related field
- 6-10 years work experiences in ITAM governance management
- Knowledge of ITAM governance best practices and industry standards (e.g. NIST Standard)
- Strong understanding of IT Asset such as Hardware Asset, Software Asset, and Vulnerability, license management, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in developing and implementing ITAM governance policies, standard and procedures.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data flow diagram
- Experienced in RDBMS DB systems, particularly Oracle / MS SQL
- Work in Agile environment, manage project timeline and take ownership of deliverie
