Job description
This Position is for a Janitor with a company location in Monticello, MS.
Employer seeks dependable and reliable Janitors for Full and/or Part time opportunities.
Summary:
Janitors are under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and are responsible for the duties assigned to them by the supervisor at the sites. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instruction as requested by direct supervisor or approved client contact in order to maintain positive client relationship. Essential Functions:
- Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors
- Wear approved uniform completely including having site-issued badge when applicable, available and present at all times
- Maintain standards of cleanliness as requested per client’s scope of work.
- Must stay on post until properly relieved
- Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders
- Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook
There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Graduate or GED
- Clean background
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to dependable transportatio.
- Pass mandatory drug testing
