Jessup's of Melbourne is Melbourne's Oldest Licensed Pawnbroker. We are celebrating 44 years of business in Downtown Melbourne. Jessup's is a family owned and operated business. We are a Pawn Shop that is a step above the rest. We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers.
We are looking for highly motivated personnel with strong work ethnics willing to go the extra mile for the business and make our customers feel right at home. Right now we are looking for possible FULL & PART TIME Employees. MUST be able to work Saturdays.
*$10.00 - $15.00 an hr
Duties include:
- Jewelry Sales
- Processing loans, extensions, and purchases
- On Floor sales
- Performing opening and closing store procedures
- actively and consistently involved in the visual maintenance of the store and stocking of items
- Greet and interact with all customers to determine their individual needs
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Hiring requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Committed to working days as scheduled and has flexibility to work additional days if needed
- Minimum 2 year of Jewelry sales experience
- Has knowledge of basic computer skills
- Knowledge of diamonds and colored stones
- Sales Background is a plus
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be flexible such as stooping and reaching overhead

We do not require masks unless we cant practice a 6’ safe distance. Masks are available for employees and customers as well as hand sanitizer located in several places throughout the business
