We are looking to grow our Legal Department with an experienced Jr. Associate Attorney. This position is responsible for providing support, oversight and execution of deliverables of all legal and regulatory departments. We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, and highly motivated individual who has a strong desire to work for a growing company, with significant responsibility, autonomy, and development potential.
This role is based in Houston, TX at the Meriplex Corporate office.

- Provide assistance with all legal requirements of a growing corporation
- Drafting legal documents such as motions and briefs
- Conducting legal research regarding business law and statutes related to the issue at hand
- Assist in other ad hoc duties as directed from General Counsel
- Knowledge of legal, telecommunications regulatory and government affairs, and business matters
- Critical thinking, judgement, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas
- Customer, vendor, colleague, and key stakeholder service skills

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college required
- Law degree from an accredited law school required
- 5 years of related legal experience required
- Current license to practice law in the State of Texas required, multi-state preferred
- Previous experience with an in-house legal team preferred
Certifications:
- Remain in good standing with the American Bar Association
Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility to meet deadlines. Some travel may be required, 0-10%.
