Summary:

Manage new and existing customer accounts; Support the sales team and branch administration.

This position starts as an administrative role, learning about the company and our systems, then moving into an inside sales position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Have a great attitude. A positive attitude and a team mentality are vital to our success
  • Respond to customer inquiries via various mediums
  • Develop and service a customer base of repeat customers
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads while maintaining a well-developed pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Meet/exceed sales goals
  • Track/update sales activity and customer information through the company CRM system.
  • Planning ahead and organizing daily responsibilities to maximize efficiency and accuracy of work.
  • Develop strong customer and vendor relationships.
  • Give price quotations for our products and services to maximize margins
  • Process and close customer transactions such as orders, quotes, returns, etc.
  • Correspond with manufacturers and negotiate purchases as needed
  • Support the Sales team with order entry, material sourcing, and quotations
  • Support branch administration duties, including billing, purchasing, and corporate inquiries.
  • Industry training provided

Requirements:

  • Sales experience
  • Strong phone and computer skills required
  • Must know basic math (decimal and fraction conversions)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related experience preferred.
  • Can do, outgoing and positive attitude
