Summary:
Reporting to the ERP Project Manager, the Junior Data Analyst works with all levels and departments of Winona Foods, Inc. to support the reporting requirements of the organization and is passionate about using data to elevate the business. With a major upgrade of our ERP System scheduled for 2023, the Junior Data Analyst position is a great opportunity for a driven, hands-on professional to grow in the Data Analyst field, learn about the business, and build relationships with key internal stakeholders. This role will ultimately bring data analysis and reporting to a higher level through defining, developing, implementing, and maintaining management reports across all value streams and multiple software platforms.
Job Duties:

• Enterprise reporting
• Define reporting requirements with system users
• Develop reporting using the organization’s preferred software platforms
• ERP custom reports
• Other third-party software custom reports
• Power BI
• Visualizations
• Dashboards
• Paginated Reports

• Work with external software vendors as needed

• Implement reporting on-time and on-budget
• Maintain and troubleshoot current reports
• Deprecate reporting that is no longer used

• Project Management
• Define and manage a standard process for delivering and maintaining reports to the organization
• Regularly review and present KPIs / metrics on Winona Foods, Inc. reporting status

• Training
• Educate users in running and interpreting system reports
• Educate “user report writers” in developing and maintaining basic reports

• Technology Knowledge
• Become the expert on the organization’s preferred reporting software
• Remain current on the technological advances in reporting methods and software

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree (or progress toward) in Information Technology, Business or Data Analytics or commensurate experience in lieu of degree.
• 2-4 years’ experience working in similar or related role in Information Technology, Business or Data Analytics, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to partner with others to identify and clarify what data and trends best support the business needs
• Experience analyzing large quantities of data from various sources and transforming data in various ways to supports business strategy
• Experience using relational databases preferred.
• Experience using an ERP system preferred.
• Experience using third-party report writing software preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft products preferred.
• MS SQL Server

• Excel, OneNote, OneDrive, Outlook, Power Automate, Power BI, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Word

• Occasional travel required, as necessary.
