Job Description Apple Valley is the leading trash competitor looking for a Junior IT Help Desk Support to Join our team and provide technical support to our employees. The Junior IT Help Desk Support will be responsible for assisting with computer hardware and software issues, and providing general technical support to users.
Responsibilities
- Performs full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on a variety of IT equipment to include technical diagnostics, break/fix, installation, staff call assistance.
- Provide technical support for Office IT infrastructure and equipment such as laptops, printers, scanners, telephones, routers, etc.
- Coordinates activities with Sr IT Staff, or other information systems groups
. • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, or via email
- Manages territory, inventory and time, along with maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and cost-effective services.
- Shows measurable progress in technical abilities, troubleshooting techniques and productivity.
- Provides updates, status and completion of information to manager, problem request tracking system, and/or users.
- Configure and deploy laptops and workstation to each user • Use remote support tool such as RDP, Screen Connect and Teams to assist user in remote office and at home
- Manager user accounts and access right on the network using Azure Active Directory
- Assist with the creation and editing of documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Provide support for SharePoint including creating and editing pages
- Help users troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Teams including video conference, chat and file sharing.
- Assist with configuration deployment and trouble shooting of VOIP phones including setting up voicemail
- Assist IT Manager with projects as necessary. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of all knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requirements
- Associates degree or at least 2 years of similar experience or bachelor's degree in an IT related field.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to travel locally daily to various locations.
- Must have excellent daily time management skills and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedule to obtain effective results.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work independently at our locations.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to report issue status to multiple levels within the organization promptly and accurately.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Must work well with fellow employees and always exhibit professional appearance and demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
