Junior Site Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced candidate for our full time (35) hour per week Junior Site Coordinator role. The hours are 9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
The Junior Site Coordinator role is responsible for the daily activities of the site, including development of activities, ensure a safe environment, and transportation. Junior Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that children are supervised at all times.
- Ensure that scheduled activities are implemented.
- Ensure that lesson plans, progress reports, and staff observations are completed on time with input from other staff.
- Ensure that site is safe: monitor site and equipment for potential problems; provide oral and/or written reports to Sr Site Coordinator.
- Maintain equipment and daycare property.
- Maintain child files and FFS reassessments.
- Oversee staff time sheets, and all other required paperwork.
- Attend required meetings and staff trainings.
- Supervise compliance of the daycare facility according to EEC regulations.
- Oversee monitors and monitor schedules for transportation.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, school and agency.
- Respond to reasonable expectations of the agency and/or supervisor.
Education and Experience:
A Junior Site Coordinator shall be at least 20 years of age and meet one of the following requirements:
Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Physical Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, the Arts, Social Work, Sociology, or Child Care; and have at least 6 months of experience working with School Age children.
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field or an Associate’s Degree in a related field; and has 9 months of experience working with School Age children.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have one year of experience working with School Age children
