At Oviedo Pet Resort we provide individual “dog-approved” boarding, day-stay, group-play, daycare and spa services such as bathing & grooming.

Responsibilities include:

❖ Interacting with & caring for the pets

❖ Cleaning individual suites and play areas

❖ Providing excellent communication and client service

Requirements:

❖ Highly self-motivated, professional & reliable

❖ Compassion for animals

❖ Ability and desire to earn consistent recognition for "over-the-top" client service

❖ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

❖ Team-orientation

❖ Emotional intelligence

❖ Extreme comfort handling animals

❖ Willingness to learn about animal health and behavior

❖ Reliable transportation.

❖ Able to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

❖ Handle and restrain animals of various sizes, weights, and temperaments

❖ Work performed in high noise level areas

❖ Exposure to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, animal dander, and feces

❖ Physical efforts require constant bending, stooping, standing, and walking

❖ Some lifting of animals and objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation

Experience:

❖ professional pet care: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

❖ High school or equivalent (Preferred)

This is a part-time job.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
