Time management and organization is key with this position as you must be able to be proactive and reactive and that all processes are being strictly followed to deliver Safety-Quality-Efficiency!

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Visit sites and perform site audits for crews.
• Manage all activities involving maintenance services, including the coordination of all materials, people and equipment required to produce a quality job.
• Communicate with Operations Manager to schedule upcoming work or site issues.
• Lead new hire on-boarding and training program as well as continued training for current crew members.
• Review crews’ weekly schedules, providing direction and goals to be accomplished
• Provide hands on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
• Assist with weekly safety meetings and monitor safety record of crews and minimize accidents to personnel and equipment.
• Instruct and supervise truck and equipment audits by foreman and crew
• Responsible for coordinating with Mechanic for proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for branch equipment.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures as issued by management.

Qualifications

• Desire 3+ years’ experience in supervising landscape crews
• Degree or certification in Landscape/Horticulture preferred
• Knowledge of Ornamental Plant, Turf, and Commercial Power Equipment
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Team orientation
• Prepared to lead by example, roll up the sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
