Our compassionate, rehabilitation center seeks an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated individual to provide substance abuse individual and group counseling to court referred clients in the best place to do substance abuse treatment on the planet...the county jail. Must be currently licensed as an LCDC, LCDC-CI with over 2000 hours, LMSW, or LPC, be able to pass a criminal history check, and have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. The position is currently a full time position of four 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities Include:

· Perform substance abuse assessments and develop treatment plans Using Therapy Notes Software.

· Maintain communication with local probation and complete weekly progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and monthly reports

· Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines

· Assist clients with aftercare plans for entry into Phase II as needed

Skills:

· Minimum of an associates degree in Social Work

· 2+ years substance abuse counseling experience

· Valid and current LCDC or LCDC-I ( with 2000 hours) license

· Ability to make psychosocial assessments and develop and implement viable care plans

· Excellent listening and communication skills

· Bilingual preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
