Lead Carpenter and Project Manager for Home Remodeling

We are looking to hire a skilled lead carpenter who is also adept as a manager to successfully lead and supervise projects ranging from kitchen cabinets to full remodels. This would include the management and scheduling of additional labor, subcontractors, and planning inspections for your projects. CARPENTRY: Possess the tool and ability to perform carpentry duties required, rough and finish carpentry including

• Cabinet Installation
• Trim work – Basic
• Framing
• Drywall – Hang, Texturing, Repairing
• Painting
• Demolition
• Basic understanding of Code Requirements
• Problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound knowledge of Safety Standards

MANAGEMENT: Leadership and organizational skills with superior communication, and time management needed

• Ensure timely arrival of subs
• Schedule and adjust labor as required
• Monitor and regularly inspect the quality of work
• Supervise adherence to the Scope of Work and Drawings
• Mindful of labor according to the budget
• Assign and explain tasks
• Discuss project progression with the client
• Communicate regularly with client and team
• Provide progress updates
• Maintain accurate records
• Superior Time Management Skills

ADDITIONALLY IMPORTANT: Soft skills in manner, calm demeanor, and cool-head approach needed to complete quality remodels for distinguished clients

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
