Wonder is hiring a Lead Cook with experience as well as strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation, effective time management, and quality control.
As a Lead Cook, you will
- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the kitchen to the front of the house
- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority, assisting with timing and organization
- Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Assemble orders to maintain fast service
- Eliminate obstacles in food preparation lines
- Be trained on all cuisines and be able to hop in and help, as needed
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- Natural communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible, and a team player
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Expeditor Detail
- Job location: Westfield, NJ
- Shift Details: Varies, Full-time and Part-time available
- Must be 18 years of age
- Pay Rate: $19/hr
Role Detail
- 2+ years of experience in high volume restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Hands-on experience with a variety of kitchen equipment tools
