About You and The Role
Zipline has spent years developing the world's most advanced autonomous delivery platform and serving some of the most deserving communities in the world but we've yet to develop our brand and tell the full breadth of our story. We're looking for a seasoned copywriter with experience crafting impactful brands and telling compelling stories to join our team and create the future of the Zipline brand voice.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the creative process beyond just copy to create compelling experiences for our current and future customers
- Write short and form copy, name products and initiatives, create voice and tone guidelines, and be a trusted advisor to the company on how Zipline shows up in the world through our words and tone
- Collaborate internally with other creatives, our marketing team, product leaders, engineers, and more to tell Zipline's story and communicate our brand
- Collaborate externally with agencies and manage copywriters and contractors
- Work closely with the creative director to own and drive projects forward and come up with creative solutions to challenging problems

- Write short and long form copy, name products and initiatives, create voice and tone guidelines, and be a trusted advisor to the company on how Zipline shows up in the world through our words and tone of voice
What You'll Bring
- 5-8 years of copywriting experience at an agency, in-house, or both
- Experience writing copy for product launches, web pages, video scripts, email, and other marketing materials
- Experience managing full-time and contract copywriters
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with peers in marketing and others across an organization
- A strategic mindset; you care as much about the why as the how and your work is rooted in a deep understanding of our customers and their motivations
