Job description
Job responsibilities include the following:
- Knowledge of appropriate HR procedure for selecting and developing employees to retain a diverse workforce
- Compile and process monthly reports as well as general training for new staff
- Correspond with state HR with reference to personnel issues
- Maintenance and supplies for all office equipment and general work supplies
- Maintenance and management of property, contracts, and agreements related to workspace, and mail distribution
- Requires a wide range of knowledge regarding the agency, its policy and procedures, the community, and its resources, and the ability to verbalize this information effectively and appropriately
- Must be able to positively resolve issues independently as well as working with management to achieve positive results
- Ability to instruct and train employees by providing information, including appropriate procedures and practices

Proven ability to work with a variety of professional (Internal and External to the organization), general public, and consumers- Demonstrated ability to identify options and develop solutions or alternative when issues arise
- Planning and organizing work including setting objective and priorities and adjusting as necessary
- Ability to plan and support the development of others, ability to recognize skills and potential of existing staff
- Ability to follow instructions through a standard work process, perform routine tasks, check for accuracy before completion of tasks
Management Preferences (if applicable)
- Previous human service experience preferred
- Excellent Interpersonal skills

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience;

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
