Job description

We are currently looking for a Lead Teacher to join our team as soon as possible. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing class curriculum, pairing students with the most appropriate teachers, creating student lesson plans, developing individualized student plans and coordinating other classroom activities. The Lead Teacher will also be in charge of evaluating student progress and communicating any concerns to the rest of the staff. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching with (or willing to obtain) a teaching degree or certification, strong leadership skills and an interest in working at a progressive school.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teachers to determine the curriculum for the school year.
• Teach students about a particular academic subject.
• Manage a class of students.
• Teach a class in a public school.
• Teach a class in a private school.

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
