Position Overview:
The Lead Teller is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and performing duties behind the Teller Line. Answers Service Representatives' questions, resolves more complex problems, and oversees daily teller and branch balancing. Responsible for smooth flow of Teller lines, adequate window coverage, general training and supervision of Tellers and branch audits. Oversees provision of a full range of services (including phone and mail) to members and prospective members. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Actively cross sells Credit Union services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and Balancing a Cash Drawer
- Completing Teller and Member Service Transactions
- ATM and Night Deposit Transactions
- Receiving and Directing Telephone Calls
- Cross-Selling SWACU’s Products and Services to aid in Meeting Branch and Personal Goals – with the opportunity to earn an incentive!
- This position also performs a variety of miscellaneous support functions:
- Processes Voucher Transactions
- Notary Republic
- Returned Mail
- Reporting Projects
- Check Hold Reviews
Qualifications:
- Great attitude and enthusiasm!
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of using a computer, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Clear written and verbal communication while maintaining professional, courteous, and friendly service to our members and co-workers
- Interpersonal skills to effectively suggest new products and services to our members
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of cash handling experience, with a history of good balancing
- One to three years of service experience, preferably in a Financial Institution
- All qualified candidates must pass a credit and background check
Pay:
Starting pay at $20.20 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:10am – 5:10pm
