Job Summary:


As a member of the Completes Sales Enablement team of North America Marketing, the Learning and Development Specialist will be an integral part of driving growth of our industrial products. The candidate will drive business results through developing and executing a learning path for technical products, building creative learning content, and creating and maintaining a training schedule consisting of blended learning solutions.


Responsibilities:


The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for owning the learning path and developing training content for compressed air equipment. The candidate will be responsible for identifying the current and future technical skill requirements, and creating flexible learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the diverse needs of the sales force.

In addition, the Learning and Development Specialist will maintain the annual training calendar including coordinating training events, pulling in Subject Matter Experts from cross-functional teams, and helping to prepare the trainers. The candidate will work closely with product specialists, product managers, and marketing team members to develop exceptional training content.

  • Development of learning path: Build out and execute course structure for new sales professionals to learn the basics of compressed air, brand specific product portfolios and value propositions, and competitive positioning.
  • Training Content Creation: Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts develop blended learning solutions to help sales professionals learn the basics of compressed air equipment and the branded product offering.
  • Own training schedule and facilitate training events: Manage the annual product-training schedule including the coordination of training events.
  • Maintain Library of Training Presentations: Develop library of training content used by training professionals for local training events. Regularly updated content for changes to existing platforms and/or introduction of new offerings.
  • Create teaching outlines based on instructional methods: Utilizing knowledge of specific training needs, determine the best instructional method (workshops, demonstrations, lectures, etc) to deliver training and create outline for trainers.
  • Develop Learning Assessments: Build activities to help assess what the attendees learned in training including workshops, quizzes, and other activities.
  • Analyze Training Data: Using training reports and feedback to implement enhancements to training programs to ensure all product-training goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year bachelor’s degree required
  • Familiarity with learning management systems such as Success Factors, LinkedIn Learning, or a similar platform
  • Prior use of tools such as Adobe Connect, Adobe Captivate, Articulate
  • Experience with technical B2B or channel distribution preferred; Sales experience a plus
  • Previous experiences with technical teaching or training preferred
