Summary

Landmark Dividend is seeking a motivated and engaged Lease Administrator to join our accounting team and drive the lease administration process for commercial ground leases on telecommunication, outdoor advertising, and renewable energy assets.

What You’ll Do

As the Lease Administrator, you will review and extract data from ground lease documents and enter it into Yardi, taking care to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data. Once entered, you will maintain leases over their life cycle, from initial onboarding through termination, including managing notices and processing renewals and amendments. Working closely with the other accounting teams, you will maintain accuracy of financial data and perform account reconciliations of tenant ledgers as necessary. As you grow in the role, you are encouraged to suggest innovations and process improvements.

You will report to the Lease Administration Manager and work out of the El Segundo Headquarters. This team values a willingness to learn and a conscientious work ethic and is open to providing additional training and support according to your needs and work style. They complete work in a timely manner through regular communication and updates, aiding each other as needed to keep the process moving forward. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your current understanding of lease administration, accounting, and real-estate as you work with diverse departments within the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Extract, audit and enter data from leases into Yardi
  • Reconcile tenant ledger accounts
  • Perform lease maintenance including managing notices, exercising indexation options and processing renewals / amendments
  • Assist in reporting lease portfolio information as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial real estate leasing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Yardi Voyager 7S or similar software
  • Affinity for detailed work and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate within the organization in a clear and timely manner

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with commercial ground leases
  • Experience with segregation of duties / controls in a SOX-compliant environment
