Qualifications - Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling with LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC or LMFT and experience working with children and their families

Job Description Summary

The Family Visitation Therapist is knowledgeable in child development, family systems and issues facing clients of the NJ Division of Child Placement and Permanency. The Therapist provides assessment; therapeutic visitation; and individual, family and co-parenting therapies to help build strong, lasting familial bonds. The Therapist participates in case conferences with DCP&P. Lower caseload allows for collaboration and documentation.
