Job Description
The Linen Distribution Tech provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner.
Job Hours Full Time, All shifts available
Job Specifications
- Reports to the Linen Utilization Manager
- Delivers clean linen carts to nursing and ancillary units
- Ensures linen area / room is clean at the end of each shift
- Builds carts for the following day
- Complies with SHL Linen distribution policies and procedures
- Maintains inventory records
- Collects and loads soiled linen into carts from soil collection areas
- Fills carts daily to establish par levels
- Tracks usage through either an electronic device or on a spreadsheet
- Ensures linen quality is satisfactory, and reports to Linen Utilization Manager concerning any quality issues
- Responds to manager pages
- Complies with SHL Safety Programs and training
- Performs other tasks as assigned by department manager
