Our rapidly growing personal injury law firm is seeking a qualified litigation paralegal to work in our Dallas office. Candidates should have at least 5 years of litigation experience, preferably involving personal injury cases, along with competent computer and administrative skills.The position will generally entail assisting the litigation attorney, communicating with clients, preparing correspondence, preparing pleadings, organizing the case's electronic files, reviewing incoming case-related mail, calendaring and ensuring compliance with deadlines and case schedules, preparing discovery and discovery responses, obtaining medical records/billing affidavits, reviewing medical records and related billings, filings with the court, preparing documents for trial, and other related duties. You will also be responsible for assisting and helping to manage pre-lit cases for the handling attorneys.
Overall organization and attention to detail are absolutely necessary to this position along with the willingness and ability to interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person. Candidates will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will provide all needed support to the assigned lawyer. Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
