Position Summary

The Location Manager will provide support, leadership, and direction at our terminal. This role oversees all operational functions at the facility including safety, dispatching, communicating with drivers, school district personnel and parents while maintaining compliance with all federal, state and local laws and District policies. The Terminal Manager needs great interpersonal and communication skills to establish relationships with staff, district personnel and parents.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maximize overall day-to-day operations to control costs and expenses to meet or exceed performance of the facility.
• Ensure safe, reliable, on-time service through efficient and cost-effective route solutions.
• Monitor and oversee timekeeping and payroll.
• Ensure proper scheduling to cover all routes and trips.
• Ensure fleet availability to meet service needs.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff.
• Oversee billing, safety and compliance reporting for the facility.
• Ensure facility is complaint with all Company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal laws or regulations.
• Meet regularly with school district administrators to review service quality and performance.
• Provide insight and information to support location contract renewals.
• Coordinate and partner with corporate functions such as Safety, Finance, and Human Resources.
• May be required to drive a bus.
• Ensure all drivers and staff are equipped with all necessary job-related training including annual or ongoing training.
• Create a culture of safety while providing a high quality of service.
• Identify key safety issues affecting the safety of passengers and employees and takes corrective action to resolve these concerns.
• Utilize customer service skills to create positive outcomes & resolutions on various issues that may come from parents, students, District or any other customer.
• Other duties as designated by Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
