We are seeking a Logistics Analyst supporting the Distribution Management Support System with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the effects of MAGTF tactical level logistics decisions on existing MARCORLOGCOM process and identify any risks that may rise.

• Build and maintain reports and presentations portraying weekly Current Operation initiatives/programs to inform and for use by senior and executive management.

• Assist in the tracking and the preparation of documentation to support the rotational schedule of deployed Marine Corps assets in accordance with command strategies.

• Develop and provide analytical reports that identify trends and impacts on distribution network. Source reports will come from DPAs, Distribution Expeditors (DEs), and other strategic and operational nodes and Areas of Responsibility (AORs). The analyses will be provided to depict trends at weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

• Develop and prepare briefs as required to communicate execution progress and performance.

• Organize and facilitate integrated product team (IPT) meetings to include the development of agenda items, the recording and tracking of action items and the generation of IPT status reports.

• Assist with special projects, meetings, conferences as assigned in support of MARCORLOGCOM requirements.

• Provide admin assistance with the organization and planning of meetings and working groups, to include but not limited to the taking of minutes, capturing action items and publishing summaries of discussions.

• Assist in the development of program requirements, timelines, operational duties, test plans and documents and other logistics and planning documents.

• Develop operational plans and concepts. Designs data collection requirements to support operational planning. Provides advice and recommendations to high level officials regarding operational plans and concepts.

• Analyze logistical data, provide metrics, and develop courses of action in order to create increased efficiencies within the logistical processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have working knowledge of the following Approved Systems of Record (APSR):

• Cargo Manifest Operating System, Worldwide Port System, Global Air Transportation Execution System, Automated Manifest System Tactical, Single Mobility System, Sea Surface Deployment Module, Joint Operation Planning and Execution System, Integrated Development Environment/Global Transportation Network, Global Combat Support System Marine Corps

• Requires functional knowledge of DoD Sea, rail, truck, and air load operations.

• Demonstrated experience in the following:

• Processing cargo domestically and internationally through commercial shipping industry

• Tracking and tracing all classes of equipment to include ammunition, explosives, and sensitive items

• De-conflicting frustrated cargo
