Job Summary

The Sr. Logistic Development Manager position develops new and maintains existing relationships in US based region. The incumbent promotes business relationships internally and externally to identify opportunities for revenue growth. This role develops new and existing business in the market by converting, penetrating, and retaining existing accounts.

Responsibilities

· Executes, maintains, and revises on previously signed contracts. Input during solution development, contract negotiation, statement of work, and pricing agreement including invoicing terms to maintain competitiveness and profitability

· Participates in board meetings and business reviews to provide leadership and strategic vision as related to logistics and transportation impact on long-term partnerships

· Analyzes price quotes to verify accuracy and determine how to propose the solution to the carrier.

· Advises on supply chain improvement opportunities and works collaboratively with other teams to develop solutions which reinforce the Elogistics value-added proposition

· Reviews customs brokerage service standards with customers to reach agreement on service levels and to retain business and manage organic growth

· Collaborates with Operations to learn standard operating procedures, and provides solutions based on transportation needs.

Preferences

· Minimum 5 years of experiences with major US carriers, such as UPS, FedEx.

· Possesses knowledge of risk management fundamentals, and major carriers’ operations

· Displays an understanding of negotiation techniques; identifies stakeholders/participants that should be involved in negotiations; demonstrates an understanding of each party’s objectives

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,916.48 per year
