We are currently looking to add a full time, Logistics Coordinator to our band of quirks. The right candidate will be responsible for supporting the team through their attention to detail, solid work ethic, and commitment to accuracy. You do not need to have experience in Logistics but must have a great attitude and ability to learn and retain information and an overall positive attitude and interest in winning. This role will support the sales cycle in conjunction with purchasing and production team and get to work for an incredibly cool pop culture apparel company. The candidate will need to excel at providing internal and external customer service and comfortable excelling in a process as well as seeking ways to improve it daily. Effective communication with other departments, including sales, production, distribution center and third-party shippers and docking stations will ensure your success and ability to grow.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Responsible for ensuring customer routing rules are known, understood, documented and maintained.
- Daily and Weekly planning to ensure scope of workload and volumes by day are known and collaborative action plan in place to execute OTIF.
- Requesting support prior to needs to ensure team delivers on objectives.
- Accurate and timely management of data entry in A2K and tracking tools to ensure visibility cross functionally.
- Collaboration with support teams at RJ OH and RJ MX to remove stalls or delays in processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve errors that occur in concert with Manager to ensure OTIF.
- Efficient workload management across team members.
- Solid process tracking to ensure pickups are scheduled, occur, and BOL’s received.
MUST HAVES
- Prior experience with data entry or customer service.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products Excel and Microsoft Outlook 365.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn more, do more and grow.
- Apparel or wholesale distribution experience a plus
- Ability to interpret and deliver on instructions furnished in written or verbal form
- Strong reasoning ability to deal with problems that are multi-faceted
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
- Strong communication skills and ability to speak with poise and confidence
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Self-starter with ability to function independently as well as in a team-based environment.
- Process-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving
