Job description

Transports materials to and from determined destinations and applies comprehension of commercial driving regulations and roads in the region. Ensures safe operations of truck and trailer, keeps accurate records and logs, and follows all Federal Motor Carrier's drug testing regulations. A clean driving record, Haz Mat Endorsement, and a Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement are required.

  • Observes DOT, federal, state and company safety regulations and policies; works towards minimizing work related accidents, and promptly reports all safety occurrences.
  • Provides customer service and improves delivery of products by taking cost-effective measures to meet customer needs; maintains professional working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Performs job responsibly and in compliance with company policies and applicable rules and regulations; follows tracking tools to ensure operations are in line with policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes PDS plan to sharpen skills and performance, as well as CDS system to identify training needs and design development curriculum.
  • Acts in a manner consistent with company values, participates in making the company a great place to work, and serves as role model for the company culture.

Qualifications/Requirements

MUST

  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Self-motivated, innovative and solution-oriented mindset
  • A clean driving record
  • 2 years relevant experience (minimum)

Physical Requirements

  • A valid Class A CDL with HazMat Endorsement
  • A valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to work 8 hour shift

You should be proficient in:

  • Forklift Licensed
  • Current CDL License
