Job description
ScriptWoRx is a Long Term Care Pharmacy located in Rocky Mount, NC. We are currently seeking 1 to 2 PRN Pharmacists to provide support/relief for our staff pharmacists.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in North Carolina (required)
- 1+ years of Pharmacist experience in a long term care (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal
Responsibilities:
- Interpret medication orders and provide pharmaceutical services to long term care and institutionalized patients, such as: monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, duplications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug, dose, and frequency
- Compound and dispense medications
- Review/interpret laboratory data for therapy appropriateness and recommend changes as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support when needed
- Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $54.00 - $57.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Self-determined schedule
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rocky Mount, NC 27804: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- license to practice pharmacy in North Carolina (Required)
