Our organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with a full range of capabilities to join our team. This is an entry-level position that requires assertiveness, flexibility and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both staff members and residents. The successful candidate for this position will perform administrative tasks and interact daily with residents.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing direct resident care to a group of residents as directed by the unit supervisor.
• Assess, diagnose and estimate the nature of residents condition.
• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed regimens.
• Prepare equipment, instruments and materials necessary for examination or treatment.
• Monitor the vital signs of residents, including temperature, respiration rate, heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen levels.
• Record residents information in medical records.
• Administer treatments, interventions and procedures as directed by physicians.
• Ensure that all instruments are cleaned and disinfected according to standards.
• Provide basic life support in the event of emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
