We have an opening for a Lube and Tire technician. This person will be responsible for vehicle quality maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations. This entry-level position will help progress employees to become full automotive line technicians.


Responsibilities

  • Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and per dealership standards
  • Diagnose and repair automotive vehicle systems, including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made

Qualifications

  • Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
  • Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
