Machine Operator
Ontario, CA
Weekly Schedule: Monday – Friday, Weekends are as needed
Available Shifts: (approximate hours)
- 2nd 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM .25 shift Differential
- 3rd 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM .50 shift Differential
Work Hours: 8 hours possible OT

As we continue to grow rapidly, we have an opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our new operation at Taylor Farms Southern California as a Machine Operator, located in Ontario, California.
The machine operator will be responsible for following all production policies and procedures to support the operation. This individual will work with all department heads to support companywide operating objectives and will report to the Production Supervisor.
We have two types of machine operators:
1. The Compounder will operate automated mixing machinery to prepare products for packaging.
2. The Filler Operator will operate an automated packing machine to prepare products for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and follow all GMPs, SOP, and KPI procedures.
- Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production.
- Follow all Covid-19 protocols, food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance protocols.
- Daily Pre-Operations Safety Checks
- Read and understand recipes and measurements
- Weigh out product per production order
- Use ERP system
- Troubleshoot computerized equipment
- Conduct Cleaning In Place (CIP) processes and MSS schedule
- Responsible for maintaining the work area clean and organized.
- Package finished product into crates
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with CIP systems
- Intermediate math skills
- Basic in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts
