URENTLY HIRING!! - Machine Operators/Production Operators

Career Recruiting Specialists is seeking a minimum of 8 machine operators to work for a major manufacturing company located in Scappoose, OR. These are direct hire/permanent positions offering excellent benefits and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate equipment to the highest safety standards and meet production targets

• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production and efficiency
• Perform daily care duties, including lubrication, cleaning of work areas, and equipment changeovers and ensuring preventative maintenance is implemented in tools being use
• Keep your work area clean an organized throughout the shift.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Complete audits (quality, traceability, etc.)
• Do safety interactions
• Follow LOTO procedures at all times when interacting with equipment
• Be able to trace and correct faults/machine defects
• Show personal initiative to learn and certify on converting equipment
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency
• Be able to operate a forklift
• Complete CILs (Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate)
• Willing to work in a team based /cell environment and work a rotating shift.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts (4 days on/ 4 days off, and alternate between days and nights)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
