What will you do as a Director of Maintenance

• Oversee all full and part-time maintenance staff and the daily operations of the maintenance department.
• Review written maintenance requests and coordinate routine maintenance of grounds.
• Conduct daily tours of the facility for safety surveillance to monitor potentially unsafe work areas, equipment and practices and ensure compliance of Life Safety regulations governing the skilled nursing facilities.
• Use your knowledge and skills of plumbing, electrical, roofing and carpentry in the implementation of repair projects and preventive maintenance schedules.

What you need as a Director of Maintenance

• Previous management experience
• Previous maintenance experience in a long term care facility
